Mike has come to Real Estate later in life, with many years of experience involving land.
Until recently, Mike worked for a consultancy firm, primarily negotiating to buy land for various public works being undertaken by Auckland Council. His valuable experience in ecological and landscape architectural work kept him busy the remainder of the time.
Mike has a degree in Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University, a lifelong connection with surveying, and spent a period of time in the computer industry as a programmer and account manager, and was finally joint owner of a software company.
Recreationally Mike has had a life long involvement in Astronomy. His other interest includes sport, music and classic cars .
Mike and his partner Megan, a noted artist, recently moved from Kaipara Flats to live on their lifestyle block in Maungaturoto. They share this with Megan's mother (a distinguished author and musician) and a menagerie of animals. Mike and Megan love the country and enjoy the pleasure of owning miniature horses together.
Mike was born in England but has lived in New Zealand since 1952 and is a New Zealand Citizen. He has two daughters from his first marriage, and Megan has three sons from hers.
Mike has NZCD (Surveying), Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hon), and National Certificate in Real Estate (salesperson) (Level 4).
Mike looks forward to utilizing the variety of skills he has learned over the years, to assist people with their real estate requirements.
