Over the years Mike has accumulated a lot of occupational experience including, Surveying, Computing/computer programming, Sales and marketing, Landscape Design, Ecological Restoration and others (including owning three companies). A central theme of much of his experience is related to people, the land, and property. Mike brings this experience to Real Estate and looks forward to utilising the variety of skills he has learnt over the years to assist people with their Real Estate requirements. Skills that enable him to have a high percentage sales rate with his listed properties.
Mike and his partner Megan, a noted artist, live on their lifestyle block in Maungaturoto. They share this with a menagerie of animals, including two miniature horses, two cats, two dogs, and a host of other living creatures.
Mike has an honours degree in Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University, a surveying qualification - NZCD (Surveying), and the National Certificate in Real Estate (salesperson) (Level 4). He has also had a lifelong involvement in Astronomy and was president of the Hamilton Astronomical Society for seven years. His other interest includes sport, music and classic cars.
Mike was born in England but has lived in New Zealand since 1952 and is a New Zealand Citizen. He has two daughters from his first marriage, and Megan has three sons from hers.
