Start with a discussion about your property, its condition, when it will be available and the level of help you need. Ask the rental team to explain tenant selection, inspections, rent administration, maintenance approval and reporting in the proposed management agreement.

• Request a free rental appraisal and ask for the evidence behind the estimate.
• Agree the management fees, additional charges and how expenditure will be authorised.
• Discuss Healthy Homes documentation and any work needed before the property is offered.
• For rural or coastal homes, explain water supply, wastewater, access and any property-specific maintenance.

For tenants

Visit the rental team’s website for available homes and application links. Follow the instructions for the particular listing when arranging a viewing or applying.

For an existing tenancy, contact the property manager named in your tenancy documents. You can find the Bogue team’s repair-request page on its website. Urgent problems should be reported using your property’s urgent contact instructions; an online form should not be relied on for an immediate response.
